Aloha everyone! My name is Shaneika Aguilar and I am a Filipino-American photographer and filmmaker born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaii. In the work that I do, I find myself at the crossroads of many worlds—weddings, advertising, music, social advocacy, documentaries, and indie films.
It's a life that takes me on adventures far and wide, which is what I cherish most about my profession. Every day presents a new chapter to film, from the intimate celebrations of love to powerful stories of social change. With every world that I enter, I have a deep commitment to storytelling. The stories I share serve as a common ground for diverse audiences to connect, empathize, and celebrate what makes us fundamentally human. It’s a privilege and a responsibility that I hold dear, using the medium of film to create a more compassionate and interconnected world.

"Troy and I hired Shaneika when we decided to renew our vows for our 10 year wedding anniversary in Kauai. I decided I REALLY wanted a video as we never got one for our wedding day. WOW what a treat it was. The video is breathtaking and everything we wanted and more. I also asked Shaneika if she would include a few photos as our families were all coming from Canada to meet us in Hawaii, she captured us perfectly and they are all so special to look back at. Shaneika's talent speaks for itself but what you can't see from the photos / videos is how amazingly sweet she is. SO accommodating and kind. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!
